I’ve held many titles throughout my tenure in athletics, Media Specialist, Content Producer, Creative Content Producer, Associate Director of Video Services. No matter what that title is, where I am employed, or who is watching the content, I always strive to deliver the best possible product. My best work does not come solely from an emphatic reaction or highlight play, but when I am able to say I am truly proud of the work I’ve done.
Background
After spending the first 17 years of my life growing up in the suburbs of Pennsylvania my family and I moved to Colorado. After rekindling an otherwise forgotten high school baseball career and graduating high school I went to Colorado State University. It is at CSU that I received my first exposure to the video world after my soon to be boss gave a presentation looking for student volunteers for Ramvision, CSU’s athletic video production department. Four years of college, three years working at Ramvision, two degrees, and one pandemic later, I found myself taking an internship at Fresno State. Once my time at Fresno was complete, I moved on to work at James Madison University, a short cross country move later. Most recently,, I was employed by the Minnesota Twins as the Creative Content Producer. 12 year-old Dalton’s dream of making it to Major League Baseball had come true, I just wasn’t playing first base.
I have one older sister, an olympic hopeful speedskater in Utah who lives and dies with the Philadelphia Flyers and “Da Birds.” Meanwhile my parents live in Colorado. My father is a finance guy by day and a motor head by night, married to my lovely mother who’s probably out hiking with the dogs or kayaking.
